We have specialised in luxury handcrafted upholstery for over 20 years. We produce high quality bespoke furniture and offer a re-upholstery and loose cover service to both private and commercial clients.
As a small family run business the traditional values of personal service is what sets Zinc Interiors apart from other upholstery companies, as well as our attention to detail and commitment to quality and craftmenship.
We have a beautiful selection of fabrics from leading design houses such as Romo, Swaffer, J Brown, Linwood, Voyage and Crest JMT Leather and our frames are made using kiln dried solid beechwood for the assurance of long lasting quality furniture.
Philip Austin, the founder of Zinc Interiors Ltd, learnt the craft of upholstery from an early age initially through the guidance of his Grandfather who used to own the popular furniture shop Conways in Dunmow, Essex, and his mother Rosemary Austin a skilled seamstress who makes up part of this dedicated hardworking team today.
‘Their skills and knowledge were passed down to me from a young age, seeing their passion and the beauty of recreating a stunning piece of furniture inspired me to choose upholstery as my profession’ - Philip Austin.
Philip's wife, Becca, studied Interior Design at Writtle College and offers advice on fabric choice, curtains, soft furnishings or a complete scheme for your home.
